Ensuring quality on new construction projects is a major challenge for most contractors and homeowners. It's not solely dependent on the use of high-priced materials but rather on planning, oversight, and consistency at all stages of the project. One thing I have learned from prior experience is that adequately construction cost estimation is incredibly important in terms of assuring quality. There is an accuracy of budget breakdown, and if you know it accurately, you can accurately allocate for labor, materials, inspections, etc., as opposed to cutting those costs later. Regular site check parts, working with qualified labor, and getting materials from reputable suppliers make a huge difference too. Communication between the project manager, architect, and client should remain open to remedy issues earlier. What has everyone done in terms of strategies to effectively control quality while remaining on budget?
